Our Intro to Clogging Summer Camp is for kids age 7 to 12 who would like to try clogging and learn a little bit about it before jumping in to regular classes.
Designed for the brand new beginner, these classes will take campers through at least a dozen of the most basic clogging steps as they learn a basic clogging routine. Terminology and history will be taught alongside demonstrations of different types of clogging and competitive clogging. During their snack and drink break, campers will work on a craft to commemorate their time spent at the studio.
Class will meet Tuesday, August 2nd; Wednesday, August 3rd; Thursday, August 4th; and PERFORM on Friday, August 5th at Friday on the Square. Fee for the camp is $75. Class size is limited.
Bonus: Sign up for fall classes during camp and receive your $25 registration fee waived.
To register for the Intro to Clogging Summer Camp, simply swing by The Clogging Studio located at 116 N. Willow on the west side of the Harrison Square between My Friend's Closet and Fraley's. The studio opens at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
